RUMBOMETER

Inspired by the distinct sounds cars produce when driving over rumble strips, the Rumbometer introduces a novel approach to measuring vehicle speeds by utilizing geophones and FFT algorithms to analyze the frequency of ground vibrations. This innovative device delivers police-grade accuracy at just 5% of the typical cost.

SAFE STRIPES SOCIETY

Thailand's first youth-led road safety initiative creates affordable solutions such as a ground vibration-based speed measurement device and AI-powered cameras for helmet and seatbelt detection. We collaborate with the Bangkok Government on traffic safety installations and lead educational campaigns to raise safety standards. We also advocate for stricter traffic laws, successfully pushing for stricter speed limits in Bangkok officially announced in December 2024. Our efforts have been recognized with the Bangkok Governor's Outstanding Youth Innovation Award.

Prognostic Health & Usage Monitoring System for Fleet Trucks

The Prognostic Health and Usage Monitoring System employs Machine Learning (ML) and Fuzzy Logic to monitor and predict the condition of freight vehicle components. Onboard sensors collect real-time vibrational data, processed by unsupervised algorithms to assess driver behaviors and suspension wear. ML models identify risks and forecast maintenance needs, enabling predictive maintenance that reduces unexpected breakdowns and enhances safety.

Country Director

Leading a student-led organization in Thailand empowering children with mobility impairments by modifying ride-on toy cars for greater independence. We’ve established the program in seven schools, positively impacting over 40 children. Key innovations include joystick controls for effortless maneuvering and custom-molded seats for spinal support. Through successful fundraising and community engagement, we provide these children the opportunity to explore their surroundings and enjoy play, fostering both physical and emotional well-being.

Digitizing Pawnshop & Pioneering Humane Metrics

Growing up in a pawn shop, I saw the need for a system that better supports customers' needs. I created a Humane Metric, incorporating a Loss Impact Value to assess emotional and financial loss and a Financial Need Index to gauge financial distress. Using these humanitarian metrics, I encouraged my parents to transform our business into a socially responsive micro-lender with needs-based loan terms, customer-specific profit margins, and flexible repayment conditions. I also digitized our inventory with OCR technology for more efficient management.

Baan Nokkamin Brother

I flew to Sukhothai for a 3-day, 2-night service trip at Baan Nokkamin, a boys' orphanage. We helped the boys build a chicken coop, taught them English, and brought sports equipment from our school fundraiser. We played soccer, visited the night market, went hiking, and explored the historical city of Sukhothai, Thailand’s ancient capital. The experience was deeply moving, and I’ve remained in touch with the boys as pen pals, exchanging letters to maintain our friendship.

Drylab Leader (2023) Lead Coder (2022-2023)

International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition

As Lead Coder and Drylab Leader, I led the use of ML models for in silico analysis, predicting gene expression in our modified genes to guide wet lab experiments. I also managed the development of our wiki page, the primary deliverable to judges, where we presented our written research and project results.

In 2022, our project focused on modifying and expressing the antimicrobial peptide bombolitin to combat bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum in solanaceous crops. We earned a silver medal and ranked among the top 10 high school teams. (wiki)

In 2023, we enhanced plant stress response by modifying the subcellular localization of GCL, earning another silver medal. (wiki)

I performed in various concerts at school, playing the trumpet, including with the Yale Low Strung cello group, where we raised funds for musical instruments to promote music accessibility around Thailand.

Varsity History Bowl

  • Champion, Thai National Championship History Bowl

  • Finalist, Asian Championship History Bee

  • Bronze Medalist, Asian Championship Academic Bowl

Varsity Swimmer

I've been swimming competitively since I was 7, training up to 8 sessions per week at my peak in middle school. I qualified for the Thai National Championship, placing 7th in my age group for the 50m breaststroke.

Key achievements include:

  • (South East Asia Schools) SEASAC 2022: 1 Gold, 1 Bronze

  • (Bangkok Schools) BMAC 2022: 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 3 Bronze

  • (Global Virtual Comp) Oman Invitational 2022: 3rd Overall, 2 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze

However, since the end of my freshman year, I have had to scale back on swimming to focus more on academics and research.

Summer AI Research Intern

During my summer internship at ZTRUS, a Thai startup focused on digitizing accounting, I researched and trained OCR and NLP models to extract and process data from invoices and receipts. This automation improved efficiency for clients like Siam Piwat, SCG, ThaiBev, and MuRata by streamlining data entry and accounting workflows.

Vice President

RIS National Honor Society (NHS)

I developed a user-friendly online platform for teachers to efficiently match struggling students with peer tutors and schedule tutoring sessions, significantly enhancing the educational environment at our school. To further support students, I introduced weekly NHS Instagram study tips and established an upperclassmen help center group chat for underclassmen. Additionally, I launched a new reading buddy program where upperclassmen read monthly to elementary school buddies, promoting literacy while introducing concepts of inclusivity and diversity.
